PLEIN AIR TRIP TO JAIPUR, RAJASTHAN
Date: 9th – 11th December
A two-day art trip to Jaipur, known as the Pink City of India, offers a vibrant blend of history, culture, and artistic inspiration. This program offers a blend of artistic activities, historical exploration, and cultural experiences, ensuring a rich and immersive experience in Jaipur.
Day 1: Arrival and Introduction

Arrival at Hotel: Check-in and welcome drink.

Lunch Time

Walking Tour of Old Jaipur: Explore the vibrant streets, markets, and iconic Hawa Mahal.

Photography Opportunity: Capture the evening light on Jaipur’s historic architecture.

Dinner: Authentic dining experience with local music.
Day 3: Historic Monuments and Painting

Nahargarh Fort: Morning light photography, sketching and Painting session. Capture the fort and city views from above.

Afternoon: Lunch time

Evening: Return to Hotel: Free time to compile and review artworks.

Farewell Dinner: Celebrate the trip with a special farewell feast and group photo session.

Materials: Basic art supplies provided; participants encouraged to bring their own favourite tools.
Day 2: Historic Monuments and Painting

Visit to Amber Fort: Guided tour and photography session.

International Watercolor Society India (IWS INDIA) in association with Watercolour Society of India (WSI) is glad to announce the 2nd Edition of OLYMPIART 2024. More than 100 countries are participating in the event and artist participating will be 500 in number. Our aim is to encourage the artists around the world to get connected and to promote and popularize watercolor medium in every country. This Festival will uplift the standards of this traditional medium through discussions, seminars, Art Talks and demonstrations by the masters. Our aim is to spend more time together, to encourage friendly discussions, to introduce you to the cultural and historical Monuments and bazaars of New Delhi.

Guidelines for Participation

Theme: Unrestricted
-
The festival is open to all the artists above 17 years of age working in water media, 90% of the work should be done by transparent watercolor.

Artist’s original work only and completed within last 2 years.
-
Each artist has the choice to submit 1 or 2 entries.

Size: only two sizes will be accepted for participation – 56 X 38 cm (Horizontal/Vertical), 56 X 38cm or 28 X 38cm.

You have to submit your entry at indiaolympiart2024@gmail.com

Submission file must be in the JPEG format : Artist full Name_Painting title_Size_Country.

The size of file must be at least 1MB and should not exceed 3MB.

You will pay an exhibition fee after your painting gets accepted.

Framing and printing catalogue will be free (Note: – shipping catalogue is the responsibility of the artists).
-
Art works sales commission is 30%.
-
We will select 500 paintings for Exhibition.
-
We are not responsible for any kind of Damage or loss occurs during the travelling of the painting.

The results of the selected artists will be announced on the 30th July 2024 in our Social media sites and our official website: www.iwsindia.org.in

After the selection kindly send your Artworks through EMS postal services only & not through DHL/FedEx services.

The artworks don’t need to be framed or mounted. The following information should be noted on the back side like name of artist, Title of artwork, Size, email and their address.

Participation Fee (After selection)
For International Artists – Accepted artist participating in the exhibition is bound to pay an exhibition fee of 85 US Dollars for 1 work and 130 US Dollars if 2 works are selected. The fee must be deposited directly via bank transfer or PayPal.

Those who are IWS Associate Members can pay 75 US Dollars for 1 work & 110 USD for 2 works.
For Indian Artists - Fee is Rs 6000 for 1 work & Rs 8000 for 2 works.

Payment is accepted only in US $ & for Indian artists in Rupees (INR).

Catalogue
The organizers of the 2nd OLYMPIART 2024, will publish a high-quality catalogue with all works of Selected Artists. Each participant will receive a catalogue for free if they attend the Biennale. Delivery of the catalogue is on demand and at the expense of the participants.

Result Announcement:
The results of the selected artists will be announced on the 30th of July 2024 and the winners of all the categories will be announced on the 1st November 2024.
Selected artists will be informed of the conditions for shipping their artwork.
